In West Africa a person is not considered truly educated until they learn a series of stories and proverbs designed to teach them healthy ways of living. Many stories follow life system events from cradle to grave, naming, riddles, fables, trickster and dilemma stories, self- esteem, conflict resolution, and cultural identity. Santemu Aakhu has been delighting Denver Metro audiences for 14 years with her storytelling. She is a talented poetess, musician and songstress residing in Denver, Colorado.David Cofie
Dancer/Storyteller
Graduated from the University of Ghana in 1996 as a Theatre studies (Dance) Major. Since then, he has distinguished himself as a total performing artiest; dancing, singing and acting with the same level of excellence. He has featured in a number of Ghanaian movies and landmark stage productions. He is also a poet and aspiring novelist.
